How it works
Frame count equals duration in seconds × frames per second. For chunk-based generation, estimated chunks equal the frame budget divided by frames per chunk, rounded up. Fractional frame rates and models with overlap or bootstrap frames can require different exact accounting.
- Enter the intended video duration and frame rate.
- Set frames per generation chunk when relevant.
- Read the frame budget and rounded-up chunk count.
Common questions
- How many frames are in a 10-second video at 24 fps?
- A 10-second video at a constant 24 fps contains 240 frames. If a generation chunk contains 33 frames, at least eight nominal chunks cover that frame budget before model-specific overlap.
- Are displayed frames the same as generated frames?
- Not always. Interpolation, repetition and model overlap can change the relationship between native generation and displayed output.
